Design and UX driven to make the engineers day task easier

Creating a simple guided process through the app results in the data and information the engineer captures consistent across the firm. The app functionality allows PureGym engineers to:

• Select the Pure Gym Branch
• Select a room, or location within the Pure Gym branch.
• Enters 1 or more ‘issues’.
• Enter an issue description and give it a (1 – 5) severity rating
• Give an issue a category, from a drop down list i.e. Plumbing, Electrical, Decor.
• Take up to 3 photos associated with the issue.
• Add general comments

Wireframes offer clarity and save time on the entire project

The process to develop the Pure Gym app involved producing smartphone wireframe screen layouts which show the functionality without any design. This allows the usability to be pushed to the forefront before getting interactive with deign. Once the wireframes were approved, our designer got to work and designed the smartphone screens for the App, taking into account Pure Gym’s brand guidelines. Then our app develops and web developers did all their techy programming clever stuff to build the app and interface it to the bespoke web portal.
